As I was finding out how to stop alcoholism, it started to be clear that the primary goal would be to eliminate the actual physical cravings. I had also been ingesting sugars and high fructose corn syrup without knowing what it really had been doing to me.

If it didn't taste very good, I didn't eat it.

When I ended ingesting all the undesirable food items, I underwent withdrawals. I discovered that I was hypoglycemic (like the majority of every alcoholic) and that I had an addiction to sugar. This situation was the root of the problem.

The final results were amazing. I began to feel better about life and myself every single day. And then finally, I came to a place in which I did not have a craving for alcohol anymore. I actually was able to stop alcoholism.

What a fantastic experience it really is to stop alcohol cravings. I shared this with other members of the support group I had been in and their reaction had been it seemed like "an easier, softer way." This mantra was repeated time and time again because the group members had been carefully taught to do so.


They didn't want to pay attention to any fresh thoughts even though they might help all of them recover.

This is extremely distressing as I understand that lots of people are hurting unnecessarily. These people go to support groups and meetings seeking a remedy. In lieu of the remedy, they're encouraged to carry on a life-style that sets them up for relapse. These people eat doughnuts, candy, and desserts in the group meetings and are surprised why they've these excruciating alcohol cravings.

They often have problems with serious emotional and mental health issues such as depression. They will continue consuming the food that makes the actual alcoholism worse each day. This particular process never ceases because their life styles don't change. They just do not seem to desire to stop alcoholism.

This is a tragedy because there is an answer and anyone can stop alcohol cravings.
